ABOUT Dr. Hussain Khan

Born and raised in Pakistan, Hussain moved to Australia in 2012.  After finishing his medical degree, Hussain spent three years working as a junior doctor in emergency medicine, trauma, and rehabilitation medicine.  He then went on to attain a PhD from the University of Tasmania investigating osteopathy in the knee.

As a cricket fanatic, working with the Pakistani and Australian National Cricket Teams has been a highlight of Hussain’s career thus far.  His experience in this area positions him as the perfect practitioner to rehabilitate low back stress fractures, soft tissues strains and overuse of the shoulder – all common injuries in cricket.

Hussain also works as a researcher, contributing key literature to the field of knee osteopathy.  Outside of work, you will find Hussain playing cricket with his local team, playing squash, or going for bike rides with his family.
