Holly is a passionate runner which has sparked her clinical interest in running-related injuries, including tendon, bone, and joint conditions. She has worked with several football clubs at both VFL and VAFA levels which has exposed her to a range of sporting injuries. Holly has completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from Deakin University.
Holly is a Physiotherapist whose love for running has shaped her clinical focus on treating running-related injuries, including tendon, bone, and joint conditions. Her extensive experience includes working as the team Physiotherapist for Queensland Athletics during national competitions and with the Australian Athletics team at the Virtus Global World Games. Holly has also contributed her expertise to several football clubs at both VFL and VAFA levels, gaining valuable insights into injury management across different sports.
Driven by her personal experiences with running injuries, Holly has developed a keen interest in overload conditions of the lower limb, load management, and injury prevention strategies. She is particularly passionate about injury management and prevention for the female athlete, and collaborates closely with athletes from Femmi, a prominent female running group. Holly works with these athletes both in the clinic and through external presentations aimed at education around strength training and injury prevention for running.
Drawing from her background in Exercise and Sport Science, Holly has developed a strong interest in exercise prescription, supported by additional qualifications in Strength and Conditioning and Clinical Pilates.
Holly takes pride in working closely with her patients, employing a holistic approach that combines exercise-based therapies with hands-on techniques. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys running, gym training and cooking!
