Your initial knee clinic appointment begins with a thorough history of your knee pain — when it started, what aggravates it, and how it affects your daily life and activity. Tim will then conduct a detailed physical assessment including range of movement testing, strength assessment, special orthopaedic tests, and functional movement screening.
Following assessment, Tim will explain his findings clearly, provide a working diagnosis, and discuss a management plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle. You will leave your first appointment with a clear understanding of what is happening with your knee and what the treatment plan involves.
Initial appointments are 60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 to 45 minutes.

The number of sessions depends on your specific knee condition, its severity, and your rehabilitation goals. Minor soft tissue injuries may resolve in 4 to 8 sessions, while post-surgical rehabilitation such as ACL reconstruction or knee replacement typically requires a longer staged program. Tim will give you a realistic timeline at your initial assessment.
