Dr. Tim Sayer

Positions

Dr. Tim Sayer is a consultant physiotherapist and Managing Director of Melbourne CBD Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine Clinic. He is an expert in the diagnosis and management of knee injuries, having completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in physiotherapy related to biomechanics of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture and patellofemoral (knee cap) pain. He is a Titled Research Physiotherapist awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association and an honorary Senior Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne. Tim combines his in-depth knowledge of human movement and lower limb injuries to optimise athletic performance and recovery from injury across a diverse range of patients from professional athletes to people with chronic pain.

David McNeill

Positions

David McNeill, physiotherapist and elite long-distance runner, has a keen interest in working with running athletes. His dual expertise uniquely positions him to offer unparalleled insights into managing sports injuries and optimizing athletic performance. Having represented Australia at three Olympic Games, David McNeill, physiotherapist, brings his personal experience of overcoming multiple injuries to his clinical practice. His approach to patient care is multidimensional and collaborative, always centered around each client’s individual goals. David has a strong clinical interest in assisting and managing bone-stress injuries, lower limb overuse injuries, training load management, and strength and conditioning for runners.
