Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed that Victoria will begin a five-day stage four lockdown from 11:59pm Friday 12th February to 11:59pm Wednesday 17th February, in response to fears the “hyper-infectious” UK strain is spreading faster than contact tracers can keep up.

We wanted to update you following the five-day snap lockdown announced by the Victorian Government.
For the first time, only emergency health services will remain open for face-to-face consultation. Based on advice from Victoria’s DHHS, Melbourne CBD Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine can only offer Telehealth consultations during this ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown. We will reopen for in-clinic visits on Thursday 18th February, unless otherwise advised by the Victorian Government.
We are committed to the continuity of your healthcare. If you have an upcoming appointment during the temporary face-to-face closure (Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th February) our reception team will be in touch (if they haven’t already!) to offer one of two options:A Telehealth consultation to be conducted in your existing appointment slotTo reschedule your appointment from Thursday 18th onwards.

To minimise the impact of the lockdown on you and your physio care, we’ve extended consultation hours on Thursday and Friday.
