Massages at Melbourne CBD Physiotherapy

We offer sports massages for pain reduction, increased sports performance, tension release and injury prevention. This is one of the many massage therapies we perform, which also includes remedial massage, relaxation massage lymphatic drainage, cupping and trigger point therapy. A remedial massage is also very beneficial for athletes as it can be used to combat niggles and release muscle tension. The techniques we use are based on clinical research and evidence, and our massage therapist is fully qualified. Appointments are between 30 and 60 minutes, and the treatment you receive is flexible and will be adjusted according to your preferences and needs. Regular massage appointments can be combined with any physiotherapy you’re currently receiving in order to get even better and faster results.

What to expect with Exercise Physiology 

We take the time to get to know you, your goals and how we can best work together. Initial Exercise Physiology sessions are 60 minutes long, where we will:

  • Understand your goals for Exercise Physiology 
  • Thoroughly assess your current physical capacity
  • Identify your strengths and development, and address any barriers you have to exercising 
  • Design an step by step exercise program specifically tailored to you
  • Incorporate behavioural and lifestyle changes within your program 
  • Teach and supervise exercises to give you confidence and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers within your team

We offer:

  • Private 60 minute or 45 minute sessions to work individually with your Exercise Physiologist
  • Group Exercise Classes for anyone looking for a social, supportive and focused environment. To access a 60 minute group session, you first need an Initial Consultation to develop an individual program to take into the group classes.
