Dr. Tim Sayer

Positions

Dr Tim Sayer is an expert in the diagnosis and management of knee injuries, having completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in physiotherapy related to anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture and patellofemoral (knee cap) pain. He is a titled Research Physiotherapist awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association with current projects investigating return to running and post-traumatic osteoarthritis following ACL injury in collaboration with researchers from Netherlands and France.

Tim is also a passionate educator, maintaining a sessional lecturing role at The University of Melbourne where he inspires the next generation of physiotherapists.

These skills enable him to listen carefully to his patients problems and effectively educate and implement a management plan. While Tim is highly sought after for knee injury management, he also has a keen interest in managing hip, elbow and wrist injuries given his love for sports such as golf and cycling where these joints are frequently injured.

Nick Cross

Positions

Nick Cross, Sports Physiotherapist, is a highly skilled clinician in treating musculoskeletal injuries and serves as the clinic lead for the treatment and management of tendon injuries, as well as injuries in the foot and ankle. In 2020, Nick Cross Sports Physiotherapist commenced research with world-renowned researchers on tendon treatment at La Trobe University and is currently a research lead on several global studies. This aspiration to resolve clinical questions arose after years of surgical observation and working with athletes who sought advice and treatment specifically for foot and ankle issues.

Nick’s extensive education and clinical experience make him a highly sought-after clinician. It also endows him with the skills to accurately diagnose and design an effective treatment plan to not only reduce pain but also to rehabilitate, restore function, and improve performance.
