Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a condition that involves the hip joint. FAI occur when bone growth is present on either the femur or acetabulum, or occasionally, both. The bone growth can obstruct normal range of the joint, with movements in certain positions being painful.
Our team of physiotherapists can:
– Assist in the diagnosis (X-Ray referral in addition to clinical tests)
– Provide precise information about the condition and whether your “abnormalities” are having an influence
– Construct effective conservative management plans for you hip symptoms: strength, biomechanics, postural avoidance, massage and tissue release
