He has a particular interest in cycling, running and hockey related injuries and technique analysis, as well as the management of knee and foot/ankle injuries. Nick is a highly experienced sports physiotherapist, having been recognised as an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist after completing a postgraduate Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2009 and has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.
He has worked in various settings around Melbourne and has worked with high-performance athletes in a range of sports. Nick is a passionate sports physiotherapist and works with his clients to deliver the best possible outcome while having a smile on his face. He has a particular interest in cycling and running related injuries and is an expert in the management of knee and foot/ankle injuries. .
Nick has worked in the high-performance space, in particular with hockey teams, and has travelled both internationally and nationally with elite sporting teams. Nick is the Head Physiotherapist for HC Melbourne, Victoria’s men’s hockey team in the nationwide Hockey One League. He is also the Victorian U21 Men’s Hockey team physiotherapist and has toured Europe with the Victorian Institute of Sport. He continues to play hockey himself, and has previously represented Victoria on four occasions, including winning a National Championship gold medal.
You’ll find me in my spare time running, cycling, at a hockey field or at the beach with my dog Stevie.
My philosophy to physiotherapy is to use a perfect combination of exercise programming, hands on treatment and mediocre jokes to help my clients be the best they can be.
