Acting Premier James Merlino has announced that Victoria will begin a 7-day stage 4 lockdown from 11:59pm Thursday 27th May to 11:59pm 3rd June, in response to the growing COVID-19 clusters occurring in Victoria.
What happens to your appointment in the lockdown?
We have received updated advice on Thursday night from DHHS and the Australian Physiotherapy Association that essential physiotherapy appointments can continue face-to-face.
Melbourne CBD Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine remains open for essential face-to-face and Telehealth consultations during this lockdown.
- If your injury or case is time sensitive, complex or you are in urgent need of physiotherapy - we are here for you.
- If your physiotherapy appointment can only be completed with hands-on or face-to-face consultation - we are here for you.
- If you have already cancelled or rescheduled your appointment and would like to revert to your original appointment face-to-face - we are here for you.
We continue to listen to the advice from Victoria’s DHHS, but remain grateful to continue offering essential allied health care as normal.
We are available
As always, we’re here to make your life easier. Our reception will remain available during normal hours to help you reschedule and answer any questions. Give them a ring on (03) 9670 3051. You can also book a normal appointment or Telehealth consultation online via our website.
If you are showing even the slightest symptom, or have been to a current exposure site please call us to reschedule your appointment. Masks continue to be mandatory indoors at all times. If you forget your mask - we have so many! Just ask for one.
And to you - we thank you. We appreciate every ounce of your understanding as we continue to listen to the DHHS guidelines and carry out our COVID Safe plan.
We understand the turbulence this is putting our Melbourne friends through, and our hearts are with you. We’ve been through this before and will get through it again.
