Group Exercise Classes are run within our Exercise Physiology service as a social, cost effective way to move towards your health and fitness goals.

A program designed by an Exercise Physiologist is clinically proven and driven by evidence. Our clinic has the capacity to objectively measure the progress of your fitness and rehabilitation, giving you motivation and clarity that you’re on your way to achieving what you want. 

We have six Group Exercise Classes spread across early mornings, lunch time and evenings, giving you the motivation and consistently to look after your health at a set time. You can also pre-purchase a 10-pack of classes to make your visits more cost effective.

How do I start?

You first have an Initial 1:1 assessment to discuss your goals, work through an assessment and set up a suitable exercise program for your individual needs. You may also transition from assessment by your physio into groups if your practitioner thinks you are suitable. 

What happens in a Group Exercise Class?

The classes run for 1 hour with each group member having their own tailored exercise program to complete in the Melbourne CBD Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine state of the art gym. This will be under the supervision of our Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Steph Tucker, who will ensure you’re keeping good technique continuing to progress through your exercises and keep edging towards your goals. 

You may like to organise a group with friends and family together or attend and meet some new people in the process. 

Does my private health insurance cover Group Exercise Classes?

Our 1:4 group exercise classes are suitable for anyone wanting to complete a tailored and supervised exercise program to help achieve their personal health, fitness or rehabilitation related goals. 

Private health insurance may cover a portion of your payment – we advise checking with your individual fund.
